I was a SportsCenter anchor!

sportscenter-1

I had to travel up to Bristol, CT to install some equipment at ESPN, and I just couldn’t resist.   The room we installed equipment in was right across the hall from the SportsCenter desk, and all week long, the red recording light was flashing, meaning I couldn’t get within 50 feet of the door that goes into the studio.  I had my camera with me everyday waiting for that one opportunity, and on the last day, I noticed the light was off.  On our way out the door, I asked Ken (the ESPN employee we hung out with all week), if I could possibly take a peek in the studio.  So Ken takes us in, and we get a little tour of the studio.  Sweeeeettttt!  So I am snapping away with my Nikon (hasn’t been out of the bag all week), and Ken asks if I would like to have my picture taken at the desk!  What……you kidding me!  So there it is, Dylan (guy I work with) and myself at THE DESK!!!  No, this is not Photoshop’d, not taken at some picture kiosk at Disney, this is the REAL DEAL.  I made the title screen at the bottom, so yes, that is Photoshop’d, but everything else is authentic.  This picture now hangs proudly in my ‘man cave’.
